8. Privacy Notice for Facebook
8.1 Custom Facebook Audience – Facebook Pixels
We use the “Custom Audiences” remarketing function provided by Facebook Inc. (1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA), or, for users in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd. (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland). This function allows us to display interest-based advertisements (“Facebook Ads”) to users who visit our website when they are on Facebook and to analyze these ads for market research purposes.
For this, we use the “Facebook pixel” on our website. When a user visits our website and takes an action, the pixel activates and reports the action. We then know if the user took action after seeing our Facebook ad. This data is anonymous and is used to track user behavior when redirected to our website from a Facebook ad.
Facebook may link the data to a user’s Facebook account and use it for its promotional purposes, as outlined in Facebook’s Data Usage Policy. Cookies may also be used for this purpose.
8.2 Facebook SDK
We use the Facebook Software Development Kit (SDK) in our app. The Facebook SDK allows us to integrate various Facebook services into our app, including Facebook Analytics, Ads, Login with Facebook, and more.
When you download our app, we may collect certain data, including device information, geographic location, and internet service provider. By downloading the app, you consent to the communication of data to Facebook.
You can manage your Facebook app connection and data access privileges in your Facebook profile settings here.
For more details, visit Facebook’s SDK documentation: iOS SDK and Android SDK.9. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. If changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on our website with the “last updated” date at the top. Previous versions of the policy are available upon request.
