Islamabad

Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. After Karachi,
Islamabad was built to replace it in 1960. Being the first planned city having
the highest living standards, safety and abundant greenery. It is also the
ninth largest city of Pakistan.

Islamabad is divided into eight zones, the city master plan
designed but the Greek architect. These zones include administrative,
diplomatic enclave, residential areas. Educational sectors, industrial areas,
educational sectors, commercial areas and rural and green areas.

Climate

Islamabad has a humid subtropical climate. It has all five seasons to enjoy, May and June are the hottest seasons, spring is March and April, the rainy days monsoon comes in July August, and autumn September- October, and the winters are from November to February.

Islamabad is the second most beautiful capital of the world following London. So surely this is a city you have to visit on your visit to Pakistan. You will see all kind of people who come there it’s either the cinemas or the restaurants if not shopping. Many people do like to relax in the open air in the evening so they turn to open air restaurants especially Monal which is situated on Margalla hill, you can see the whole Islamabad lightened in the evening it is indeed a view to admire. 

Winters are the best in Islamabad, as the month of December arrives people turn towards coffee shops and you would find the restaurants very crowded. As it has the best Asian foods on cheaper rates. If you want to experience snowfall just a 2 hours’ drive towards the beautiful of Murree hill. You will find it very crowded because many people visit Murree in winters and in summers as well.  You have good coffee brands like Gloria Jeans and Second cup, with some very good coffees.

Faisal Mosque

Faisal Mosque is the largest mosque of Pakistan and is very beautiful. It is located at the foothill of Margalla Hill. Its architecture is splendid and unique. Hundreds of Muslims from different places come to offer prayer in Shah Faisal Mosque.

Pakistan Monument

The Pakistan Monument is the national monument and the heritage of Pakistan. Pakistan Monument is a must visit at night as the lights make it more beautiful. It was built to symbolize the unity of people of Pakistan. It can be seen across the Islamabad- Rawalpindi metropolitan city.
